Tue, 18 Nov 2008 22:32:15 PST- On paper, last week's win over Texas A&M will go down as Baylor's fourth of Art Briles' first season as coach, and probably its final win of the 2008 football season. But that doesn't mean it wasn't important.
"First of all, it puts a good taste in our mouth, that, like, we're doing things right, it's happening the right way," Briles said on Monday's Big 12 media conference call. "It does increase a little momentum for us recruiting, without a doubt, because it's what you gotta be able to do in the state of Texas is get on equal playing ground with the three other Big 12 schools in the state."
